Climate Clever SCHOOLS: LEVEL 1

Hey!

Welcome to Climate Clever Schools! We’re so pleased to have you on-board.

As you have registered, you are now on Level 1 – Inspire and have access to a bunch of resources to help you progress.

Use the Scheme of Workworksheets and Powerpoints we have created (found below) as much or as little as you want – feel free to inspire your pupils and school community in any way you like, but remember, to complete this level you need to submit a piece of evidence for each of the 3 actions listed below.

LEVEL 1 - INSPIRE: ACTIONS

To complete Level 1 - Inspire we'd like you to:
  • Put together a Climate Action Team of pupils  - share a photo
  • Deliver an assembly that raises awareness of climate change - share a photo
  • Make a short video (< 3minutes long) OR share another photo showing what you've been doing to raise awareness of Climate Change.
Then what?

Whenever you have completed an action, we'd like you to upload your evidence, so that's:

A photo (.jpg or .png) of your Climate Action Team (ECO Club members).

A photo (.jpg or .png) of your awareness-raising assembly.

A  short video file (.mp4 or .mov) OR another photo of your efforts to raise awareness of Climate Change.

* If you're stuck with what to send as evidence, take a look at the Display board to see what other schools have done.

Ready to upload evidence?

If you're ready to upload evidence - great! - use this 'Upload Evidence' link (which takes you to your Profile page).

Progressing onto Level 2 - Investigate

When we have received your submitted evidence for Level 1 - Inspire, we will look at it, verify it and then send you an email saying you have advanced onto Level 2 - Investigate.

You'll know this has happened because your map icon will change to show you are working on Level 2 - Investigate, and any evidence you 'ticked' you wanted to share will be visible on the Display page.
